Nessie is my only dog-child and the inspiration for this blog. She’s an English Labrador from service & therapy dog lines and has been my constant companion for the past twelve years.
Ness is SUCH a lab! She completely adores people and other dogs and has freaked many a cat out by trying to introduce herself.
True to her heritage, she loves water. If we’re walking and she sees a puddle, she’s going to detour to walk through the puddle. And if there’s a lake or pond, she’s in it, never mind the weather! She’s not a big swimmer, she just prefers being cold and wet whenever the opportunity arises.
Ness is a very special, once-in-a-lifetime dog, and I’m very honored to have her in my life. She’s sweet, smart, curious, playful, and has an enchanting winsome air about her. Wherever we go, there’s always someone asking to meet her & she’s happy to oblige!
